EDUCATION
After graduating from the SCEGGS Darlinghurst, one of the top prestigious girls' school in Sydney Australia, with a full music scholarship, Penny started off her full-time study with Bachelor of Engineering at University of New South Wales (UNSW). Whilst studying, she was also enrolled in Certificate IV Industrial Design at Sydney TAFE Design College. After 2 years of Engineering, she had discovered that her passion lies towards design and her love of creativity had made her transferred from Engineering to Computational Design at UNSW in a following year.
With both technical knowledge and problem solving skills from Engineering, Computational Design is a perfect combination in utilising Engineering and Design to solve a creative problems. Tools involved are CAD programs such as Rhino3D, Grasshopper, Keyshot, Adobe Suite, SolidWorks etc. This new degree, only being offered in 2015, combines the artistry of Architecture, City Planning, Industrial Design and Interior Design, that has equipped Penny the skills required for a successful career.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Penny has had various job, each of them being unique to provide her growth in confidence and leadership. Penny worked part-time as a Graphic Designer for Visual Glass Tech, a small start-up glass printing company. She was in-charged of social media management and creating promotional content and EDM through creativity. 
During holiday 2016-2017, Penny completed a work experience at KTGY Architecture and Planning firm to learn the role of an architecture illustration and presentation skills using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Further to the role, Penny had also learnt 3D modelling and rendering through SketchUp. 
Lastly, Penny occasionally accepts freelance graphic design job, with the latest one being a touring company (APSE Tours).
Apart from design experience, Penny is currently a high school tutor, tutoring Chemistry and Math for year 11 and 12. Furthermore, she also works as a Medical Typist for WLM Periodontics. Her typing rate calculates to be fast at 70 wpm. This work equips her with extensive medical terminology. 
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
One of Penny's hobby is managing a business and sales. In 2014, Penny started her own jewellery line (Penchiicharms) as a sole trader, selling mainly handmade jewelleries. After a year of success, she donated part of her profit to a blind school in Thailand. With the advised from Ernst & Young Games Changer club, Penny has increased her knowledge in business and consulting in corporation with her work.
Apart from her jewellery line, her latest business work focuses more on design after meeting like-minded designers from TAFE Design College. KANVO is a designed print focus initially on cards. Penny and her team is planning to expand the business in the upcoming year.
HOBBY
Penny is a musician who had successfully completed Grade 6 musicianship and a diploma in Violin performance. Apart from the Violin, she also plays guitar, bass guitar, viola, trumpet and sing, making her able to read and transpose both bass and tenor clef. Her orchestral and small ensemble involvement such as Sydney Youth Orchestra and TangoOz had always been part of her life for decades.
Apart from music, Penny is a social media savvy. She explores themes on Instagram and takes photos when travelling. She frequently does collaboration with other 'Instagrammers' to expand her social network and work.
