This shoebox design is for Excentricity Shoebox Design competition held at University of News South Wales hosted by Real Life Skills. The design was successfully done by Christie Lau and Penny Pang where we have both ended up in top 4 finalists to pitch the design to the company in China.
Displayed version for the shoes from Excentricity Shoes. The octagonal shape allows plenty of storage such as brush, shoe horn, shoe cream and many more. One left-hand side of the box can fit bigger material whereas the right-hand side of the box is divided into 3 to fit smaller object. The space allows for future storage when you reuse the box for other purposes. The 2 mm thickness of the cardboard material is covered in red synthetic leather, also replicating the texture of the Excentricity shoes design and professionalism.
Inside the box is protected by red suede material for protection against the shoes. This also applies to the interior of the side storage.
The open lid flap-like will be magnetic for the aesthetic purpose and convenience.
